Public Meeting Held about US 50 Expressway Project’s Potential Impacts to Red Hills State Park

IDOT held the open house style meeting on June 27 at the Trace Inn at Red Hills State Park to give the community an opportunity to learn about the project’s potential impacts to the park and provide an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments. IDOT intends to seek a Section 4(f) "de minimis" impact finding from the Federal Highway Administration based on a determination that the project will not adversely affect the features, attributes, or activities that qualify Red Hills State Park for protection under Section 4(f).
